We are pleased to announce that we now offer full building and landscape design services to compliment the interior design arm of the business.
With this addition to our team, our studio is well-equipped to offer a comprehensive range of services, ensuring that each project achieves a high-end finish and is fully approved before moving into the construction phase.
When we initiate the design phase, we truly appreciate having the builder work alongside us, as this collaborative approach helps us create a design that is both buildable and affordable. Maintaining open communication is essential, so we encourage builders you to work along side us throughout this process. This way, we can ensure that the design is able to fit inside the clients budget and at the end of the day, we have addressed all possible issues prior to council approvals.

The Process

This initial stage involves establishing the project requirements,
goals, and constraints. It includes understanding the client's
needs, site analysis, and setting the project budget.

During this phase, rough sketches and diagrams are created to explore design concepts.
Floor plans, elevations, and site plans are developed to illustrate the overall design direction.

Once a concept is selected, detailed drawings and specifications are prepared.
Here is where the interior design package slips in. -
The final design documents are submitted to local authorities for approval. This stage may also involve obtaining other necessary approvals, such as zoning variances or environmental permits.
While this is happening the interior design team continues to prepare the package for tender.

Detailed construction drawings and specifications are created to
guide the building process. These documents provide instructions
for contractors on how to build the project.

Contractors are invited to review the construction documents and submit quotes for the project. Negotiations may occur to finalise the contract and project scope.

During the construction phase, the design team oversee the building process to ensure that the design intent is being followed. They may respond to requests for information, issue clarifications, and conduct site visits to monitor progress.

When engaging for a building design package, 3 months + is required from initial 20 minute consult to completed design ready for council application or CDC. As soon as the architectural design is submitted to council is an ideal time for us to start the interior design process (if not sooner) to prepare for tender.
